Well-Op Program
Wellshire Farms has developed the Well-Op Program to express the uniqueness of our company and the way we do business.
President Lou Colameco felt that Wellshire has many aspects of a Co-Op business. When we researched the definition of a Co-Op, we realized that Wellshire held true to 6 out of the 7 principles of a Co-Op. Instead of calling ourselves a Co-Op, Lou came up with the name Well-Op.
Well-Op stands for Wellshire Opportunities, Wellshire Operations, and Wellshire Outside Philanthropy.
